The External Office for Criminal Affairs Delchevo filed criminal charges against N.I. (47) from the Delchevo area on reasonable suspicion of having committed the criminal offences of “bodily injury”, “endangering safety” and “failure to comply with a court decision”. On 16 July 2026, at the family home, the reported person physically assaulted his mother and threatened her, thereby acting contrary to a decision issued by the Basic Court Delchevo imposing a temporary protection measure against domestic violence.
The External Office for Criminal Affairs Valandovo filed criminal charges against D.R. (73) from Valandovo on reasonable suspicion of having committed the criminal offences of “unauthorised manufacture, possession, brokering and trafficking in weapons and ammunition” and “forgery of firearms”. On 24 March 2026, following checks, it was established that the reported person had a permit to possess and carry a 9 mm “Crvena Zastava” pistol and a 12 mm “TOZ” shotgun, firearms for which a temporary seizure order had been issued, but which he had failed to surrender. During a search of his home, the aforementioned firearms and two “Ekol Tuna” pistols were found. It was established that additional mechanical modifications had been made to the pistols by fitting smoothbore barrels, enabling them to fire live ammunition. A total of 45 rounds of ammunition were also found.
On 15 August 2026 at 12:50, it was reported to the Tetovo Sector for Internal Affairs that a traffic accident had occurred on the Tetovo–Skopje regional road, near the village of Zhelino, involving an “Audi” passenger vehicle driven by M.S. (33) from the village of Trebosh and pedestrian Z.E. (63) from the village of Zhelino. The pedestrian sustained serious bodily injuries in the accident. An investigation was conducted at the scene by a team from the Tetovo Sector for Internal Affairs.
On 15 August 2026, a 61-year-old woman from Kriva Palanka reported to the Kriva Palanka Police Department that she had been physically assaulted by her husband, E.A. Measures are being taken to fully investigate the case.
On 15 August 2026, police officers from the Popova Shapka Police Station arrested I.I. (34) and M.I. (29), both from Skopje, after they physically assaulted employees G.A. (50) from the village of Lisec and B.J. (47) from Tetovo at approximately 17:50 that day in a catering establishment on the Tetovo–Popova Shapka regional road. G.A. sustained serious bodily injuries, while B.J. sustained bodily injuries. Following consultation with a public prosecutor, both persons were detained for further proceedings, while an investigation was conducted at the scene by a team from the Tetovo Sector for Internal Affairs.
On 15 August 2026 at 16:30, police officers from the Kamenjane Police Station arrested J.N. (45) from the village of Bogovinje after he physically assaulted his 34-year-old daughter-in-law in the yard of the family home in the village of Bogovinje, causing bodily injuries confirmed at the Tetovo Clinical Hospital. He was detained at a police station for further proceedings, and after the case is fully documented, an appropriate submission will be filed against him.
On 15 August 2026 at 23:20, police officers from the Gostivar Police Station arrested I.D. (37) from Gostivar after he entered the home of his 32-year-old girlfriend, verbally assaulted her and then took and damaged her mobile phone. Shortly afterwards, he physically assaulted her in front of the building, causing bodily injuries confirmed at the Emergency Centre in Gostivar. He was detained at a police station and, after the case is fully documented, an appropriate submission will be filed against him.
On 16 August 2026, police officers from the Gostivar Police Station arrested I.T. (45) from Gostivar following a report that he had physically assaulted his 35-year-old wife. A breathalyser test showed 1.01‰ alcohol. Later that evening, his wife additionally reported a pattern of abuse against her and the children. Based on the report, at 23:55 a search was conducted at I.T.’s home, during which items related to a criminal offence were found and seized. He was detained at a police station and, after the case is fully documented, an appropriate submission will be filed against him.
On 15 August 2026, at different locations in Skopje, police officers from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs arrested A.L. (22), D.M. (51) and a 17-year-old, all from Skopje, after marijuana and a white powdery substance were found and seized from them. After the cases are fully documented, appropriate submissions will be filed against them.
On 15 August 2026 at 21:00, on the Strumica–Radovish main road, police officers from the Strumica Sector for Internal Affairs arrested D.M. (25) from Strumica. During an inspection of a “Polo” passenger vehicle with Strumica registration plates, driven by D.M., he took out and handed over a package containing marijuana and four ecstasy tablets. A public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office Strumica was notified, and after the case is fully documented, an appropriate submission will be filed.
On 15 August 2026 at 23:10, at the “Toplik” dam in Gevgelija, police officers from the Strumica Sector for Internal Affairs – Gevgelija Police Department arrested R.I. (44) from Gevgelija. During a search, a white powdery substance was found in his possession. A public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office Gevgelija was notified, and after the case is fully documented, an appropriate submission will be filed.
During the night (16 August 2026) at 00:50, at the “Toplik” dam in Gevgelija, police officers from the Strumica Sector for Internal Affairs – Gevgelija Police Department arrested D.A. (44) from Gevgelija. During an inspection of a “Polo” passenger vehicle with Gevgelija registration plates, driven by D.A., marijuana and items containing marijuana residue were found. A public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office Gevgelija was notified, and after the case is fully documented, an appropriate submission will be filed.
During the night (16 August 2026) at 00:18, in a village in the Valandovo area, police officers from the Strumica Sector for Internal Affairs – Valandovo Police Department arrested a 42-year-old resident of the village following a report that at approximately 21:00 on 15 August 2026 he had physically assaulted his 36-year-old wife at the family home. A public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office Gevgelija was notified, and after the case is fully documented, an appropriate submission will be filed.
On 15 August 2026 at 22:40 in Bitola, police officers from the Bitola Sector for Internal Affairs arrested S.R. (28), Џ.М. (24), T.V. (27), all from Bitola, and M.S. (21) from Kichevo, after marijuana was found and seized from them. After the cases are fully documented, appropriate submissions will be filed against them.
On 15 August 2026 at approximately 20:30, police officers from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs – Centar Police Station arrested A.N. (59) from Skopje following a report that at approximately 16:30, at the family home, he had physically assaulted his 58-year-old wife and her 78-year-old mother. After the case is fully documented, an appropriate submission will be filed.
On 16 August 2026 at 02:25, M.S. (51) from Skopje reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that at approximately 20:00 on 15 August, in the Gazi Baba area, his minor son had been physically assaulted by a male and a female minor whom he knew. At approximately 22:00, in Skopje City Park, the same minors, together with another person, allegedly assaulted him again and threatened him. Measures are being taken to fully investigate the case.
On 16 August 2026 at 05:55, in the Gazi Baba area, police officers from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs arrested Sh.S. (41) from Skopje following a report that at approximately 02:45 he had physically assaulted his 50-year-old wife at their home. After the case is fully documented, an appropriate submission will be filed.
On 15 August 2026 at 23:15, D.P. (33) reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that he had been physically assaulted by J.P. (38), both from Skopje, in the Gjorche Petrov area. Measures are being taken to fully investigate the case.
On 15 August 2026 at 20:45, S.J. (39) from Skopje reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that he had found a stray firearm projectile near his house in the Drachevo area. Measures are being taken to fully investigate the case.
On 15 August 2026 at 21:10, J.A. (35) from the village of Studenichani, Skopje area, reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that a panel covering the garage at her home had been damaged by a stray firearm projectile. Measures are being taken to fully investigate the case.
On 15 August 2026 at 17:09, it was reported to the Bitola Sector for Internal Affairs that a traffic accident had occurred on the Bitola–Prilep road, near a place known as “Petilep”, involving a “BMW” passenger vehicle with Serbian registration plates, driven by B.S. (46) from Belgrade, and an “Opel” passenger vehicle with Bitola registration plates, driven by Z.M. (48) from the village of Sveto Todori, Municipality of Mogila. B.S. and his passengers, K.S. (46) and a 15-year-old minor, both from Belgrade, sustained serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the Bitola Clinical Hospital. The other driver and his passenger, M.V. (31) from Bitola, sustained bodily injuries. A public prosecutor was notified, and an investigation was conducted at the scene by a team from the Bitola Sector for Internal Affairs.
On 15 August 2026 at 01:30, it was reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that, following a prior disagreement, public order and peace had been disturbed by a physical altercation in the village of Indzhikovo, Skopje area, between A.T. (31) from Indzhikovo on one side and A.V. (28) from Indzhikovo and K.Z. (23) from the village of Jurumleri on the other. After the case is fully documented, an appropriate submission will be filed.
On 15 August 2026 at approximately 19:45, in the Bit Pazar area of Skopje, police officers from the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs arrested S.A. (20) from Skopje following a report that he had attempted to take money from an employee of a sports betting shop while threatening her with a sharp object. After the case is fully documented, the Centar and Bit Pazar Internal Affairs Unit within the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs will file criminal charges on reasonable suspicion of the criminal offence of “attempted robbery” under Article 237 in conjunction with Article 19 of the Criminal Code.
On 16 August 2026 at approximately 02:35, K.B. (70) from Skopje reported to the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs that an object had been thrown towards his home in the village of Bardovci, Skopje area, causing an explosion that damaged the entrance steps of the house, broke a window and damaged a passenger vehicle, the gate and other property. Measures are being taken to fully investigate the case.
