Today (13.11.2025), at the State Secondary Vocational School “Kole Nedelkovski” in Veles, a simulation exercise was conducted for rapid evacuation and behavior in crisis situations, specifically a fire simulation. Police officers from the Veles Police Department, in cooperation with the Territorial Firefighting Unit Veles, the Red Cross Branch Veles, the Directorate for Protection and Rescue, and the Emergency Medical Service Veles, together with the students and school staff, carried out an exercise on the topic “How to Act in Crisis Situations.”
During the exercise, protection and rescue measures were demonstrated, as well as the procedures followed by the emergency services on the ground in the event of a fire. The goal was for the students to become familiar with the methods and protocols for behavior in crisis situations — specifically, how to evacuate and respond quickly in case of fire, manage panic, and ensure safe and organized evacuation in a simulated situation.
