Today (09.05.2026), police officers from the Kavadarci Police Department carried out a traffic prevention activity under the slogan “Wear a helmet, drive carefully”.
The aim of the activity was to improve traffic culture by reminding citizens of traffic rules, regulations and obligations for careful and responsible participation in traffic, as well as to increase the safety of moped and motorcycle drivers. Drivers were informed about the obligation and necessity of wearing protective helmets, both for themselves and for passengers, emphasizing that every participant in traffic is equally responsible for their own safety and for the safety of all other road users. During the activity, printed educational materials prepared in cooperation with the Republic Council for Road Traffic Safety and the Faculty of Security in Skopje were distributed.
Today (09.05.2026), police officers from the Eastern Regional Center for Border Affairs – Police Station for Border Crossing and Border Surveillance Delchevo, together with the General Competence Police Station Delchevo, the Forest Police and the Public Enterprise “National Forests” – Delchevo, carried out preventive activities in several villages in the Delchevo municipality area (Bigla, Dramche, Chiflik and Petrashevec) on Mount Golak aimed at protection against open-air fires and prevention of illegal logging and transportation of wood.
Through meetings and discussions, police officers informed citizens about the danger of fires, the consequences of lighting fires in open areas, burning stubble and dry grass, while emphasizing that timely informing and reporting is of particular importance. Educational leaflets were distributed to the citizens during the activities.
