Today (October 20, 2026), police officers from the Police Station in Kavadarci and the Police Department in Štip conducted educational lectures on protection against peer and cyber violence at the Primary School "Dimkata Angelov Gaberot" in the village of Vataša, Kavadarci, the Primary School "Tošo Arsov" in Štip, and the Primary School "Goce Delčev" in Vinica. The students were introduced to the forms and ways these deviant phenomena manifest, as well as the potential consequences that may arise, during which they were clarified on the methods and techniques for timely prevention and coping with this type of deviant behavior among the youth. Police officers from the Police Station in Negotino and the Police Office in Čaška carried out preventive activities for protection against thefts, advising citizens on how to enhance their personal safety, with a special emphasis on pickpocketing, as well as urging them to be cautious with their personal belongings and to avoid leaving them in their vehicles.
Police officers from the Police Station for Public Safety in Berovo conducted a preventive activity titled "Buckle Up" at several locations in the central urban area of Berovo, during which participants in traffic were informed about the legal regulations regarding adherence to traffic rules and regulations, particularly concerning the obligation to wear seat belts, both for drivers and passengers.
At the Municipal Secondary Medical School "Nikola Štein" in Tetovo, the Police Department in Tetovo implemented an activity from the preventive project "Prevention of Drug, Alcohol, and Tobacco Abuse," aimed at first-year students in all secondary schools in the Tetovo and Gostivar regions. The main goal of the project is to raise awareness among young people about the harmful consequences of psychoactive substances, to promote healthy lifestyle habits, and to reduce the risk of minors coming into contact with drugs, alcohol, and tobacco. The Prevention Department at the Police Department in Kumanovo, on the other hand, participated in organizing a small football tournament in the Municipality of Lipkovo, focusing on sportsmanship and preventing violence and hate speech.
