Today (July 5, 2026) in Štip, Delčevo, as well as in the area of the Fire Station Tearce in the villages of Neprošteno, Lešok, Tearce, and Glođi, police officers from the Prevention Department of the SVR Tetovo, Fire Station Tearce, Prevention Department of the SVR Štip, OVK Delčevo, and the Regional Center for Fire Protection East conducted preventive activities for fire safety. Citizens were reminded of the need for caution while performing agricultural work, complemented by ongoing cooperation with relevant institutions and the mandatory reporting of irresponsible behavior.
Citizens were informed about the ban on movement in forests and forested areas, which is in effect from July 1 to August 31, 2026, and they were advised that if they notice a fire, they should immediately report it by calling 112. Citizens were also provided with printed educational materials, created in collaboration with the Public Enterprise "National Forests."
