Today (October 1, 2026), police officers from the Prevention Department of the Police Department in Veles and the Prevention Department in Stip conducted preventive activities to prevent domestic violence in Veles and Stip. Through direct communication, citizens were informed about the occurrences of domestic violence, as well as protective measures, sharing the procedures and protocols for such cases, along with the availability of assistance, protection, and temporary accommodation, emphasizing the importance of timely reporting of all forms of violence.
Police officers from the Čashka Police Station carried out a preventive activity to protect forests from illegal logging, stressing to citizens that any unlawful actions will be appropriately sanctioned, while in the areas of Negotino and Gradsko, preventive activities were conducted to protect against thefts, during which citizens were informed about ways to enhance their personal and property security.
Police officers from the Traffic Safety Department at the Kavadarci Police Station and the Stip Police Department, in Kavadarci, Delčevo, Sveti Nikole, and Kočani, implemented preventive activities titled "Buckle Up" to inform both drivers and passengers in vehicles about the obligation and necessity of using seat belts, aimed at increasing safety. At the "Brotherhood-Midjeni" Primary School in Tetovo, police officers from the Prevention Department of the Tetovo Police Department explained to children how to navigate traffic safely, ensuring they can get from school to home and back. In Berovo, the preventive activities were focused on the safe participation of electric scooter and bicycle riders in traffic.
At the Primary School "Nikola Karev" in Kruševo, a simulation exercise for rapid evacuation and behavior in crisis situations was conducted, specifically simulating an earthquake, during which police officers, in collaboration with other institutions, presented the measures for protection and rescue, as well as the procedures for field services in the event of an earthquake. The goal is for students to become familiar with the methods and protocols for behavior in crisis situations, namely organized evacuation in a hypothetical scenario. Meanwhile, at the Primary School "Manču Matak" in Krivogaštani, an educational lecture on protection from addictions was held.
