Today (January 20, 2026) in Veles, police officers from the Prevention Unit of the Police Department of Veles conducted a preventive educational activity for protection against theft. The police officers, through direct communication and by distributing educational materials, shared useful advice with citizens on how to protect themselves from such criminal acts. During the previous day, in Strumica, police officers from the Prevention Unit of the Police Department of Strumica and the Strumica Police Station carried out a preventive activity as part of the campaign "Ministry of Interior for the Citizens."
Police officers from the Prevention Department of the Police Department of Skopje, in cooperation with the Traffic Police, in the area of the PO Saraj–toll booth "Glumovo," as part of the preventive activity under the motto "Use Winter Equipment," emphasized to drivers, through direct communication and distribution of educational flyers, the necessity of adhering to traffic rules and regulations, aiming to enhance safety on the roads, especially regarding the use of winter equipment, a requirement that is in effect from November 15, 2025, to March 15, 2026. Drivers were also informed about the penalties that are prescribed for non-compliance with the laws.
In the territory of the Police Department of Stip, in Delcevo and Stip, preventive activities "Do Not Use a Mobile Phone While Driving" and "Park Responsibly" were carried out. Citizens were pointed out the harmful consequences that may arise from using a mobile phone while operating a vehicle, as well as from improperly parking vehicles.
