Today (29.11.2025), at the Novo Selo border crossing, police officers from the Prevention Unit at the Strumica Police Department, together with police officers from the Regional Center East – Border Police Station and Border Surveillance Novo Selo, as well as representatives of the Red Cross Strumica and the Republic Council for Road Traffic Safety, carried out a preventive activity aimed at improving road safety during winter conditions.
During conversations with the drivers, they were advised about the mandatory use of winter equipment on their vehicles and the need to adhere to traffic rules and regulations, especially in winter conditions when traffic flow becomes more difficult due to wet or icy road surfaces.
Educational materials provided by the Republic Council for Road Traffic Safety were distributed to the drivers, along with warm tea offered by representatives of the Red Cross Strumica.
