Today (10.04.2026), the Prevention Department of SVR Skopje, in cooperation with the RCRTS (Republic Council for Road Traffic Safety), carried out a traffic preventive-educational activity in the area of the Petrovec Police Unit, near the Petrovec toll station, as part of the campaigns “Wear a Seatbelt” and “Do Not Use a Mobile Phone While Driving.” These campaigns were implemented with the aim of improving the safety of drivers as well as other road users. As part of the activities, drivers were given educational leaflets prepared by the Republic Council for Road Traffic Safety, containing messages promoting responsible and conscientious participation in traffic.
Also today, the Prevention Unit of SVR Shtip, in cooperation with police officers from the Traffic Police Station Shtip, conducted a preventive activity under the themes “We Are All Pedestrians,” “Do Not Use a Mobile Phone While Driving,” and “Wear a Seatbelt.” During the activities, drivers and pedestrians were informed about the legal regulations regarding compliance with traffic rules and regulations, and educational leaflets with safety advice were distributed.
