Today (14.02.2026), at the Petrovec toll station on the Skopje–Veles motorway, as part of the celebration of the holidays Saint Trifun and Saint Valentine, the Mobile Unit of the Traffic Affairs Sector, in cooperation with the Republic Council for Road Traffic Safety, carried out a preventive and educational campaign titled “Alcohol and the Steering Wheel Don’t Mix”.
The aim of the activity is to encourage awareness among road users about respecting traffic rules and regulations.
Drivers were given educational materials with reminders not to operate vehicles if they have consumed alcohol. They were also informed about the harmful consequences that may occur when driving under the influence of alcohol, as well as the fact that any driver who consumes alcohol and drives will be sanctioned.
