On 08.09.2026 at 09:30 a.m., police officers from the Popova Shapka Police Department detained R.S. (55) from the village of Gajre.
According to the report, at a location known as “Mala Zecka”, below the village of Gajre, while cleaning his property of dry grass and low vegetation, he started a fire, after which the fire spread and engulfed a larger area.
The fire was extinguished by a team from the Tetovo Territorial Firefighting Unit and employees of the Forest Management Company. No persons were injured.
Following the complete documentation of the case, a criminal complaint will be filed against him for the criminal offense of “Causing General Danger”.
