During the past 24 hours, police officers across the country arrested 10 drivers for the criminal offense of “reckless driving.” Nine of them were driving without a valid driver’s license, including two minors, while one driver caused a traffic accident resulting in material damage. One person was driving under the influence of alcohol.
Upon completion of the full documentation of the cases, appropriate criminal charges will be filed.
We appeal to all road users to respect traffic rules and regulations, not to drive without passing a driving test, not to drive while subject to a driving ban, and never to drive under the influence of alcohol. Together, we can all contribute to safer road traffic.
