Today (26.05.2026), at the location known as “Ramno”, as well as on the road towards the villages of Brest and Gorna Brana – Glazhnja, Lipkovo, police officers from the Tanushevci and Belanovce Border Police Stations carried out preventive activities aimed at preventing fires and illegal logging. During conversations with citizens, the police officers emphasized the importance of maximum responsibility and care for forest resources. Citizens were also informed that illegal logging and causing fires are criminal offenses punishable by law. In the event they notice illegal logging or a fire, they were urged to immediately report it to the emergency number 112. Educational printed materials, prepared in cooperation with the Public Enterprise “National Forests”, were also distributed to citizens.
At the “Blazhe Koneski” Primary School in Veles, an educational activity was organized by the Traffic Police Station and the Prevention Department of the Veles Sector for Internal Affairs. During the activity, students were introduced to the profession of police officer, especially the work of the traffic police and road safety rules for young pedestrians. The children also had the opportunity to see part of the technical equipment, gear, and vehicles used by police officers in their daily duties.
Police officers from the Kavadarci Department of Internal Affairs also organized an “Open Day with the Police” at the Park of the Revolution in Kavadarci. Around 190 children from the “Rada Poceva” kindergarten attended the event, where they had the opportunity to see part of the technical equipment, gear, and vehicles used by police officers in their daily work, while also learning more about the police profession.
In addition, police officers from the Kochani Traffic Police Station delivered an educational lecture on road safety at the “Kiril i Metodij” Primary School in Kochani, while police officers from the Shtip Traffic Police Station carried out a preventive activity focused on proper parking.
