On July 1, 2026, at 7:30 PM, a 31-year-old woman reported to the Skopje Police Department that on June 30, 2026, around 10:00 PM, in a park within the Aerodrom municipality, her 12-year-old daughter was physically attacked by a 14-year-old girl who was with her friend, and who had previously forced her to kneel and apologize on two occasions. After she attempted to leave, she was physically assaulted by another minor, and the entire incident was recorded on a mobile phone by several minors who were present, one of whom she recognized. On the same day, an official conversation was conducted at the police station with the two minors in the presence of their parents.
A juvenile prosecutor and the Inter-Municipal Center for Social Work have been notified. In connection with the incident, actions are being taken to identify other involved minors for the complete resolution of the case, after which criminal charges will be filed for the crime of "violence" under Article 386 and for the crime of "neglect and abuse of a minor" under Article 201 of the Criminal Code.
