On October 25, 2026, between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM, the Traffic Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted a nationwide enforcement operation aimed at monitoring drivers and vehicles.
During the inspection, 51 violations regarding vehicles were noted, including 19 measures for technically defective vehicles and seven for driving with an expired traffic permit.
Regarding drivers, 231 violations were recorded, of which 49 were for improperly parked vehicles, 49 for not wearing seat belts, 14 for novice drivers, and 10 for using a mobile phone while driving.
Four individuals were detained, and two vehicles were temporarily seized for committing a criminal offense under Article 297-a of the Criminal Code – "reckless operation of a motor vehicle."
Enforcement operations will continue in the upcoming period to enhance safety and protect participants and passengers in traffic.
