As a result of successful international police cooperation and the timely exchange of operational information from the Bureau for Public Safety at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 68 kilograms of cocaine were seized at the toll station Fontaine in France, found in a cargo vehicle driven by Macedonian citizen M.F. (44).
The seizure is the result of operational information provided by the Department of Criminal Police, specifically the Unit for Illegal Drug Trafficking, which was delivered to the relevant French authorities through the Sector for International Police Cooperation and Europol.
This marks the second successful international operation within a month, following previous cooperation with the Greek police, which resulted in the seizure of 324 kilograms of marijuana.
These results confirm the effectiveness of international police cooperation and the ongoing commitment of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the fight against organized crime and illegal drug trafficking.
