During the course of yesterday, police officers across the entire territory of the country deprived of liberty 10 drivers, two of whom were in Tetovo and one each in Kumanovo, Bitola, Sveti Nikole, Štip, and Kočani, for driving a vehicle without a driver’s license.
One driver each in Veles and Sveti Nikole were driving vehicles despite having an imposed ban on driving a motor vehicle of category B.
Meanwhile, one driver in the Gevgelija area was driving under the influence of alcohol.
The persons were taken to a police station, and after full documentation of the cases, appropriate criminal charges will be filed.
We appeal to all traffic participants to respect traffic rules and regulations, not to drive without having passed the driving exam, not to drive if they have an imposed driving ban, or if they are under the influence of alcohol, and together to contribute to safer traffic.
