During the period from 19:00 on 13.02.2026 until 03:00 on 14.02.2026, in the areas of Centar and Bit Pazar in Skopje, police officers from SVR Skopje carried out intensified activities based on a previously prepared operational plan aimed at maintaining a favorable security situation in the central urban area.
As part of the operation, identity checks were conducted on 24 persons, searches were carried out on 17 persons, and four vehicles were inspected. During the control, seven traffic violations were recorded, and two vehicles were seized in accordance with Articles 378 and 380 of the Criminal Code.
During the operation, two drivers, S.S. and M.A., were deprived of their liberty after driving passenger vehicles of the brand “Mercedes” with Skopje license plates, due to reasonable suspicion of having committed criminal offenses under Articles 378 and 380 of the Criminal Code. Additionally, one misdemeanor under Article 80 of the Law on Weapons was recorded.
Preventive activities were also carried out through continuous patrols in a park in the Kapishtec area, near a hospitality facility on “Partizanski Odredi” Boulevard, as well as near the playground known as “Drven Grad,” due to the daily gathering of minors at these locations.
