Successful rescue of two employees from A1 near the village of Lazaropole

Yesterday (January 10) at 11:30 PM, it was reported to the Tetovo Police Department that two employees of the mobile operator A1, who were located above the village of Lazaropole, near the operator's base station, were trapped in snow. Contact could not be established with the individuals due to the absence of mobile network coverage.

Immediately after the report, the case was forwarded to the Police Station in Rostushe, after which members of the Special Police Operations Department and the Uniformed Police Department of the Ministry of Interior, as well as members of the Directorate for Protection and Rescue, were engaged. With two off-road vehicles equipped with snow sleds and appropriate rescue equipment, the teams headed to the scene.

Today (January 11) at 8:30 AM, the individuals were found and successfully rescued in good health. The individuals are G.N. (47) and M.M. (37), both from Skopje, who were traveling in an off-road vehicle of the brand "VW Amarok" with Skopje license plates.

They were located at a site known as "Koritnik," near the transmitter of the A1 network, in the area of the village of Lazaropole.
