Yesterday (August 29, 2026) at 8:22 PM, a report was made to the Tetovo Police Department via the number 112 that N.S. (37) from the Republic of Bulgaria had disappeared while climbing "Titov Vrv."
Following the report, immediate measures and activities were undertaken to locate her. The search involved police officers from the Tetovo Police Department, the Popova Shapka Police Station, members of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit "Tiger," a helicopter from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, teams from the Directorate for Protection and Rescue, as well as representatives from the National Park "Shar Planina."
Today, around 3:00 PM, near the area of "Gorna Leshnica" and the shepherd's huts "1st of May," N.S. was found by citizens, in good health.
After being located, she was transported by an off-road vehicle from the area of "Gorna Leshnica" to Popova Shapka, from where she will be taken by an ambulance to the Clinical Hospital in Tetovo for medical assistance.
