On the occasion of the holiday “Resurrection of Christ – Easter,” tomorrow (11.04.2025), the Traffic Police Unit of SVR Skopje will introduce a special traffic regime on certain roads in the central city area of Skopje, as well as in the municipalities of Gjorche Petrov and Aerodrom.
Tomorrow (11.04.2025), starting from 18:00 until the end of the event marking the religious and public holiday “Resurrection of Christ – Easter,” the following streets in the city center of Skopje will be closed to traffic as needed:
- Blvd. “Partizanski Odredi” from the intersection with “Franklin Roosevelt” Street to the intersection with Blvd. “VMRO”
- Blvd. “St. Kliment Ohridski” from the intersection with Blvd. “Ilinden” to the intersection with “Dimitrie Chupovski” Street
- “Mitropolit Teodosij Gologanov” Street from the intersection with “9th May” Street to the roundabout with “St. Cyril and Methodius” Street
Public city transport (buses) passing over the “Goce Delchev” bridge will, if necessary, have their routes changed and will operate via Blvd. “Ilinden” and then join Blvd. “Partizanski Odredi” through “Franklin Roosevelt” Street. Buses passing through the city center will move along “M.T. Gologanov” Street and then via “Franklin Roosevelt” Street join Blvd. “Partizanski Odredi.” In the opposite direction, buses will use the same routes.
In the municipality of Gjorche Petrov, if necessary, “Makedonska Vojska” Street will be closed in front of the church “St. Peter and Paul,” on the stretch from the intersection with Blvd. “Partizanski Odredi” to “Gjorche Petrov” Street.
In the municipality of Aerodrom, the local road to the village of Lisiche will be closed if necessary.
Other roads near religious facilities may also be closed if needed.
The Ministry of Interior appeals to citizens to respect the orders issued by police officers.
