On 22.03.2026 at 21:15 in Tetovo, police officers from SVR Tetovo deprived B.I. (43) from Tetovo of his liberty, acting upon a prior report from his 42-year-old wife that he physically assaulted her with a sharp object, and that over a longer period he had been behaving aggressively and making threats towards her and their children.
On 22.03.2026 at 16:45 at SVR Tetovo, a 43-year-old woman from Tetovo reported that in her home, following a prior misunderstanding, she was physically attacked by her son P.S. (26) and her daughter-in-law V.S. (21), both from Tetovo. They were summoned to SVR Tetovo where an official interview was conducted with them.
On 22.03.2026 at 12:45 in a village in the Gostivar area, police officers from OVR Gostivar deprived S.O. (49) from the village of his liberty, acting upon a prior report from his 60-year-old brother that he physically assaulted him using a sharp object, causing injuries.
On 22.03.2026 at 13:00 at SVR Skopje, a 47-year-old woman from the Skopje area reported that around 03:00 in the family home, her husband Z.M. (51) made threats towards her and her parents. According to the report, over a longer period he had been threatening her and also damaging household property.
During the night (23.03.2026) at 02:15 in Gevgelija, police officers from SVR Strumica – OVR Gevgelija deprived a 31-year-old resident of Gevgelija of his liberty, acting upon a prior report that on 22.03.2026 around 23:45 in the family home he physically assaulted his 29-year-old wife, causing bodily injuries. The person has been detained at the Gevgelija Police Station, and a public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office Gevgelija has been informed of the case.
Measures are being taken to clarify the cases, and upon their full documentation, appropriate charges will be filed against the perpetrators.
