On 23 March 2026 at 23:30, on the regional road Demir Kapija – Negotino, at a location known as “Ostrovo,” police officers from the Mihajlovo Border Police Station arrested B.E. (29) from the Republic of Turkey.
Earlier, while undertaking operational measures near the Tremnik interchange, police officers noticed several individuals exiting a vehicle “Škoda Kamiq” with Skopje license plates, driven by him. Shortly afterward, the vehicle was stopped and B.E. was deprived of liberty.
Following a search of the terrain, five migrants from Egypt were found. The suspect was detained at a police station, while the migrants were transferred to the Vinojug Reception-Transit Center in Gevgelija.
After the case is fully documented, an appropriate report will be filed against him.
