Minister of Internal Affairs Panche Toskoski is participating in the Strategic Dialog Macedonia – U.S., which is taking place in Washington, where the second session of this important bilateral process is being held.
The Strategic Dialog represents a significant platform for deepening cooperation between North Macedonia and the United States, focusing on security, the rule of law, and institutional development.
Within the framework of the dialog, the Ministry of Internal Affairs places a strong emphasis on strengthening border security, combating organized crime, illegal migration, and drug trafficking, as well as enhancing intelligence cooperation with partner agencies.
"The Strategic Dialog with the United States is an important process that brings concrete results for the safety of our citizens. Through this partnership, we ensure safer borders, a more effective fight against crime, and modern, resilient institutions," emphasized Minister Toskoski.
Particularly significant is the support from the U.S. amounting to over 3.5 million dollars, aimed at strengthening the capacities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which represents a direct investment in the security of the state.
Concurrently, efforts are being made to enhance cybersecurity through technical support, training, and modernization of systems, with the goal of more effectively protecting institutions and critical infrastructure.
The United States remains the most important strategic partner of the state and a strong ally in strengthening security, stability, and democratic capacities.
