Today (November 1, 2026), police officers from SVR Tetovo – the External Office for Criminal Investigations in Gostivar, acted upon previously received operational intelligence, conducting an operation to prevent illegal drug trafficking, during which two individuals from Gostivar were detained.
Following operational and tactical measures and activities, the police officers intervened at the moment of a transaction on "Beličica" street in Gostivar. At the scene, B.I. (42) and S.J. (48), both from Gostivar, were taken into custody. During the search of the individuals, cocaine and marijuana were discovered.
After securing a court order, a search was conducted at B.I.'s residence, where six more packages of cocaine and cash in various denominations were found and seized.
The two individuals are being held at the police station for further proceedings, after which appropriate charges will be filed against them.
