On October 30 and 31, 2026, at various locations in Skopje, Prilep, Demir Kapija, Bogovinje, and Štip, police officers detained 13 individuals aged between 18 and 46, among whom marijuana, white powdered and granular substances, tablets, and items containing powdered content were found and confiscated.
In Skopje, police officers from the Skopje Police Department detained A.T. (37), M.A. (32), L.A. (18), E.Ѓ. (23), O.J. (22), O.K. (26), all from Skopje, M.H. (19) from the Ilinden neighborhood, I.S. (35) from the village of Novo Selo, and G.K. (46) from Kočani, after marijuana, white powdered, and white granular substances were found and seized from them.On October 30, 2026, at 4:00 PM, it was reported to the Prilep Police Station that officers from the prison police at the Correctional Institution Prison – Prilep, during a search of the convicted individual I.R. (32) from Prilep, discovered powdered substances, several tablets of various colors, as well as items containing powdered content.On the same day, at 9:00 PM, in the village of Bogovinje, police officers from the Kameniane Police Department detained H.O. (44) from the village of Pirok, after marijuana was found and seized from him.He was held at the police station.On October 31, 2026, at 1:00 AM, in Demir Kapija, police officers from the Demir Kapija Police Office detained S.R. (29) from the village of Korešnica, after white powdered substances and a tablet were found and seized during a search.A public prosecutor was informed about the incident. On October 30, 2026, at 7:05 PM, in Štip, police officers from the Štip Police Department detained F.I. (26) from Skopje.
While performing their official duties, the police officers noticed that he was using marijuana, after which he discarded the cigarette butt, which was found and seized.
After fully documenting the cases, appropriate charges will be filed against the individuals.
