On September 8, 2026, at 1:50 AM in Skopje, in the area of the Aerodrom municipality, police officers from the Intervention Police Unit of the Skopje Police Department detained A.K. (29) from Skopje. According to the report, he had previously transported J.T. (26) from China to the requested destination in his private taxi, after which he demanded a higher fare than what the ride actually cost. When J.T. refused to comply, A.K. threatened him with a sharp object and took his money.
After the case has been fully documented, the Aerodrom and Dračevo Police Stations within the Skopje Police Department will file a criminal charge due to the existence of grounds for suspicion of the committed crime of "robbery" under Article 237 of the Criminal Code.
