Today (September 7, 2026), a joint press conference was held by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the organizer of the central event marking 35 years of independence for the Republic of North Macedonia.
The press conference presented the measures and activities being undertaken to ensure a safe and smooth conduct of the event, which is expected to attract a large number of visitors.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs and the relevant institutions, in cooperation with the organizer, are taking appropriate measures for the safe conduct of the event.
This is a large-scale event, with a significant number of visitors, where the safety of citizens, the uninterrupted flow of the concert, and the protection of public order and peace are our priorities.
The measures are aimed at prevention, timely action, and creating conditions for visitors to safely and smoothly attend the event.
In the interest of safety, we urge all visitors to respect the instructions of police officers, security personnel, and the organizer, to arrive on time, and not to bring items that are prohibited at such events.
