Today, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Astrit Iseni held a meeting with the Regional Representative for Southeast Europe (SEE) within the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Danilo Rici. 
The meeting discussed the excellent cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, emphasizing the importance of its further continuation and enhancement, particularly in the area of project implementation.

Deputy Minister Iseni expressed gratitude for the overall support that the ministry receives from UNODC, noting that it is of great significance in strengthening capacities in the fight against organized crime, terrorism, and drug trafficking. He assured that the ministry will continue to be a dedicated partner and will provide full support towards strengthening the partnership.

The representative of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, Danilo Rici, presented the organization's work and highlighted the successful project activities being carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, emphasizing their commitment to building joint policies and strategies to enhance the security of citizens and democratic values.
