Last night (19.03.2026) at 00:10, near the Gostivar toll station, police officers from the Department for Illicit Drug and Weapons Trafficking at the Gostivar Police Department deprived of liberty E.E. (40), B.S. (48), both from Gostivar, and Q.R. (70) from the village of Vranovci, Gostivar area.
While undertaking measures, the police officers noticed the individuals in a passenger vehicle, a “Volkswagen Bora” with Gostivar license plates, during which E.E. threw out one package containing a lumpy brown substance and another containing a brown powdery substance, which were found and seized.
The individuals are being held at a police station, and in coordination with a public prosecutor, appropriate criminal charges will be filed against them during the day under a fast-track procedure.
