Today (18 March 2026), police officers from the SVR Skopje identified S.B. from Skopje, who two days ago struck a pedestrian with a vehicle on Vasil Gjorgov Street in Skopje and then fled the scene. Specifically, on 16 March 2026 at 16:10, SVR Skopje received a report from the Emergency Center at the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Complex in Skopje that an 11-year-old minor from Skopje had been brought in with serious bodily injuries. According to the report, at around 13:20 at the intersection of Vasil Gjorgov Street and the service road with Naroden Front Street in Skopje, a passenger vehicle hit her and left the scene.
SVR Skopje will file criminal charges against S.B. under Article 300 of the Criminal Code for serious crimes against the safety of people and property in traffic, as well as under Article 301 for failure to provide assistance to a person injured in a traffic accident.
