Following measures and activities undertaken, police officers from the Kočani and Vinica Police Departments arrested V.Z. (26) and D.S. (43), both from Kočani, on suspicion of having committed multiple criminal offences.
Namely, they are suspected of having committed multiple criminal offences during August and September this year in the areas of Kočani, Vinica, Delčevo, Makedonska Kamenica and Probištip, including seven cases of serious theft from residential and business premises, three attempted serious thefts from residential and business premises and passenger vehicles, as well as one offence of preventing proof, committed by V.Z.
As part of the measures undertaken, searches of their homes were conducted pursuant to court orders, during which items originating from the aforementioned criminal offences were found and seized.
Upon full documentation of the cases, appropriate criminal charges will be filed against them.
