On 09.02.2026 at 04:15, on the “Friendship” motorway, in the direction from Skopje to Kumanovo, police officers from the Border Surveillance Police Station Sopot deprived N.S. (40) from Kumanovo of his liberty. While conducting motorcycle patrol activities, police officers stopped a passenger vehicle “Fiat Bravo” with Kumanovo license plates, driven by N.S. During an inspection of the vehicle, it was established that he was transporting four migrants—two from Nepal and one each from India and Pakistan.
N.S. was detained at a police station, while the migrants were transferred to the Tabanovce Transit Center. After full documentation of the case, an appropriate criminal report will be filed.
