Regarding the traffic accident that occurred on 19 June 2026 at approximately 7:00 p.m. in the village of Vizbegovo, near Skopje, in which a passenger vehicle struck a children's bicycle ridden by a three-year-old girl from Skopje, who sustained serious bodily injuries confirmed at the “Mother Teresa” Clinical Complex, after which the driver left the scene, the Skopje Police Department took measures to clarify the case.
Today (20 June 2026), police officers from the Traffic Accident Investigation Unit located the vehicle and identified the driver. The vehicle was identified as a Volkswagen Golf with Skopje registration plates, driven by J.B. (19) from the village of Dobrino, Skopje region.
The vehicle was inspected and photographed, and an official interview was conducted with the driver. Upon full documentation of the case, an appropriate legal submission will be filed.
