On June 29, 2026, at around 8:00 p.m., police officers from the Intervention Police Unit of the Skopje Internal Affairs Department arrested S.Sh. (29) from Skopje in the village of Vizbegovo, near Skopje.
Earlier, at the Asylum Center in Vizbegovo, he had behaved aggressively and threatened a woman with a sharp object before leaving the scene in a taxi. Shortly afterward, following police measures, the vehicle was stopped, the suspect was apprehended, and a knife was found on him and seized.
During the identity check and verification in the operational records, police established that S.Sh. was wanted under a court order to serve the remaining seven years and one month of a prison sentence.
He was subsequently transferred to the Idrizovo Correctional Facility to continue serving the remainder of his sentence.
