The Criminal Police Department at the Bitola Sector of Internal Affairs filed a criminal complaint with the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Bitola against L.B. (29) from Bitola, due to reasonable suspicion of committing the criminal offense “unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.”
Namely, over a longer period of time, the suspect had illegally procured a larger quantity of marijuana, which he stored in a basement of the residential building where he lives in Bitola, and repackaged it for sale to drug users in the Bitola area.
On February 21, 2026, acting on a court order, a search was conducted in the suspect’s home and other auxiliary premises, during which marijuana and a digital scale were found and seized.
By decision of a pre-trial judge, L.B. was ordered to be held in detention for a period of 30 days.
