On February 23, 2026, around 9:30 PM at a gas station on the Skopje-Kumanovo highway, police officers arrested O.K. (33) from Turkey for transporting six migrants in a "Škoda" vehicle with Kosovo license plates, three from Egypt and three from Algeria. Previously, at the Romanovce toll station, he failed to stop at a signal from the police officers, but after necessary measures were taken, the vehicle was located, O.K. was arrested, and following the documentation of the case, appropriate criminal charges will be filed against him.
