On February 15, 2026, at 1:23 PM, it was reported to the Police Department in Štip that a fire had occurred at a house on "June 14" Street in Macedonian Kamenica, owned by Lj. Gj. (80).Police officers from the Štip Police Department – Macedonian Kamenica Police Station arrived at the scene and found the owner trapped on the terrace of the second floor, after which measures were taken and he was safely lowered with the help of a ladder.He received assistance at the Clinical Hospital in Štip due to smoke inhalation, after which he was transferred to the "Mother Teresa" Clinical Center in Skopje for further treatment. The fire was extinguished by the Territorial Firefighting Unit of Macedonian Kamenica. An investigation was conducted.
