Following a video posted on the social media platform TikTok, showing a driver operating a Suzuki passenger motor vehicle with Skopje registration plates along a bicycle lane next to Butelska Street in Skopje, travelling from the roundabout towards the intersection with Bosnia and Herzegovina Boulevard, the Road Traffic Safety Unit at the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs immediately took measures to establish the driver's identity.
Following the measures taken, the driver was identified as N.K. (46) from Skopje, who was summoned for an official interview today (28.10.2026) and appropriately sanctioned for the traffic violation committed, namely driving a vehicle on an inappropriate traffic surface.
The Ministry of Interior appeals to all road users to comply with traffic rules and regulations and not to endanger the safety of other road users.
