Police officers, acting on the orders of a public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office for the Prosecution of Organized Crime and Corruption, arrested F.S. for committing a criminal offense – Accepting a reward for unlawful influence.
From October until December 13, 2025, the suspect received a total amount of 50,000 euros to mediate and leverage his actual influence to intervene with a judge at the Appellate Court of Skopje, using the bribe to persuade the judge to perform an official act that should not have been executed.
Initially, the suspect requested 100,000 euros to influence the revocation of a detention measure imposed on an individual who is unavailable to the prosecuting authorities and against whom the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office for the Prosecution of Organized Crime and Corruption is conducting another proceeding for criminal offenses against public finances, payment transactions, and the economy. On October 6, 2025, he received part of the requested amount, specifically 30,000 euros, which was handed over to him by the sister of the person in hiding. On December 13, 2025, he directly requested and received another 20,000 euros as part of the bribe he sought to give to the judge.
Immediately after receiving the funds, the suspect was detained, and the money was found in his possession.
