On 14 December 2025 at 14:13, police officers from the Štip Police Department deprived M.N. (57) from Štip of his liberty. Earlier, at 14:00 on Marshal Tito Street in Štip, he was involved in a traffic accident with his vehicle, a “Seat” with Štip registration plates, colliding with a passenger vehicle “Nissan” with Štip plates driven by S.S. (44) from Štip, a passenger vehicle “Volkswagen Golf” with Štip plates driven by A.N. (64) from Štip, and a passenger vehicle “Mercedes” with Štip plates driven by V.Č. (53) from Štip. While taking measures related to the accident and after conducting a breathalyzer test, it was determined that he had been driving under the influence of alcohol, with a measured blood alcohol concentration of 1.57‰.
On 14 December 2025 at 20:01 on VMRO Street in Kočani, police officers from the Kočani Police Station deprived N.M. (45) from the village of Gornji Podlog, Kočani area, of her liberty. During a traffic control, police officers stopped a passenger vehicle “Volkswagen Polo” with Kočani registration plates that she was driving, and after taking measures it was determined that she was under the influence of alcohol, with 2.63‰ alcohol in her blood. She was immediately excluded from traffic and detained at the police station.
On 14 December 2025 at 12:06 on a regional road in the village of Ljubodrag, Kumanovo area, police officers from the Kumanovo Police Department deprived M.Љ. (19) from the village of Ljubodrag of his liberty. During traffic control with radar, it was established that he was driving a passenger vehicle “Seat” with Kumanovo registration plates at a speed of 95 km/h in a built-up area where the maximum permitted speed is limited by a traffic sign to 40 km/h.
On 14 December 2025 at 22:49 in Ohrid, police officers from the Ohrid Police Department deprived N.P. (48) from the village of Leskoec, Ohrid area, of his liberty. During a traffic control on 15th Corps Street in Ohrid, a passenger vehicle “Mercedes” with Ohrid registration plates that he was driving was stopped, and after taking measures it was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol, with a measured blood alcohol concentration of 1.66‰.
On 14 December 2025 at 18:25 on the Ohrid–Kičevo main road, near a location known as “Kopačka,” police officers from the Kičevo Police Station deprived O.M. (63) from Kičevo of his liberty. Earlier, while driving a passenger vehicle “Peugeot” with Kičevo registration plates, he ran off the road and struck a protective barrier. While taking measures related to the accident, it was determined that he was under the influence of alcohol, with a measured blood alcohol concentration of 1.98‰.
After full documentation of the cases, criminal charges will be filed against them under Article 297-a of the Criminal Code – “reckless driving of a motor vehicle.”
