On January 1, 2026, at 12:54 AM in Tetovo, police officers from the Police Department of Tetovo arrested A.Z. (19) from the village of Poroj, Tetovo. Previously, on "Ivo Ribar Lola" street in Tetovo, he crashed his passenger vehicle, a "Volkswagen Golf" with Tetovo license plates, into a curb, and during the measures taken, it was established that he was under the influence of alcohol, with a blood alcohol content of 1.68 per mille.Later, at the Clinical Hospital in Tetovo, he physically assaulted police officers while they were performing their official duties. On January 1, 2026, at 1:50 AM in Kochani, police officers from the Police Department of Kochani arrested D.Đ. (69) from Kochani for driving a passenger vehicle, a "Ford" with Stip license plates, in the wrong direction in a roundabout and continued to drive against traffic on "Dimitar Vlahov" street in Kochani.
After fully documenting the cases, charges will be filed against them under Article 297-a of the Criminal Code - "reckless driving of a motor vehicle."
