Drivers detained in the Probishtip, Negotino and Demir Hisar areas for driving under the influence of alcohol; the driver from the Probishtip area also caused a traffic accident

On 23.11.2025 at 23:00 in the village of Ratavica, Probishtip area, police officers from the Probishtip Police Station detained N.V. (20) from Ratavica. Earlier, around 21:30 at the exit of the village, he, while driving an “Audi” passenger vehicle with Probishtip license plates, crashed into a protective road barrier and skidded off the road, after which he left the scene. After taking measures, he was located, and an alcohol test confirmed he was under the influence of alcohol, measuring 1.84‰ blood alcohol level.
On 23.11.2025 at 20:30 on “Marshal Tito” Street in Negotino, police officers from OVR Negotino detained Lj.D. (58) from Negotino. During a traffic control, the officers determined that he was driving a “Ford” passenger vehicle with Negotino license plates under the influence of alcohol, measuring 1.84‰ blood alcohol level.
On 23.11.2025 at 16:49 in the Demir Hisar area, police officers from the Demir Hisar Police Station detained M.P. (61) from the village of Vrbjani, Debrca municipality. During a traffic control, the officers determined that he was driving a “Renault” passenger vehicle with Ohrid license plates under the influence of alcohol, measuring 1.59‰ blood alcohol level.
They were detained in a police station, and after fully documenting the events, a report will be filed against them under Article 297-a of the Criminal Code – “reckless operation of a motor vehicle”.
