On October 27, 2025, at 9:13 p.m. on “Solunska” Street in Bitola, police officers from the Bitola Police Department detained N.L. (42) from Bitola. During a traffic control operation, police officers stopped a Volkswagen Passat with Bitola license plates, driven by N.L., and determined that he was operating the vehicle with 2.99‰ (promille) of alcohol in his system.
On October 28, 2025, at 12:55 a.m., the Delčevo Police Department received a report that in the village of Gabrovo, Delčevo area, an Opel passenger vehicle with Bulgarian national plates, driven by O.Z. (55) from Gabrovo, had crashed into a neighbor’s fence. When police officers took measures regarding the accident, it was determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol, with 1.82‰ of alcohol in his blood. He was subsequently detained.
Also on October 27, 2025, in Kočani, police officers from the Kočani Police Department detained J.I. (57) from the village of Banja, Kočani area. Earlier that day, he had been driving a Yugo passenger vehicle with Kočani license plates on “Roza Petrova” Street in Kočani, where he crashed into several parked vehicles. It was determined that he was driving under the influence of alcohol, with 2.01‰ of alcohol in his blood.
All three individuals were detained at police stations, and after the full documentation of the cases, criminal charges will be filed against them under Article 297-a of the Criminal Code – “Reckless driving of a motor vehicle.”
