olice officers from the Skopje Department of Internal Affairs detained five people in connection with two criminal offences reported on 09.08.2026.
In coordination with the Tetovo Department of Internal Affairs, J.J. (24), A.O. (22) and A.A. (24), all from Gostivar, were detained on suspicion of having attacked V.O. (23) from Austria at around 4:00 a.m. on 09.08.2026, near the City Park in Skopje, and attempted to take his money and personal belongings. During the incident, one of them inflicted a cut injury on him.
The criminal offence of “robbery” committed on 09.08.2026 at Macedonia Square in Skopje, against Š.S., has also been solved. According to the report, a bag containing documents and money was taken from him.
Immediately after receiving the report, police officers from the Centar and Bit Pazar Police Stations took appropriate measures and activities to solve the case, and A.A. (18) and A.S. (19), both from Skopje, were detained.
Following the documentation of the cases, appropriate criminal charges will be filed.
