During the past 24 hours, police officers across the country arrested eight individuals after drugs were found in their possession.
On May 28, 2026, at 11:50 p.m. in Strumica, police officers from the Strumica Police Department arrested N.M. (23) from Strumica. Marijuana was found during a search of the individual. On May 29, 2026, based on a court order, a search was carried out at his home, where two plastic packages containing marijuana were discovered. The individual was detained at the Strumica Police Station, and a public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Strumica was informed of the case.
On May 29, 2026, at 9:30 p.m. in the village of Bogovinje, in front of a hospitality establishment, police officers from the Kamenjane Police Station arrested B.J. (38) and N.A. (38), both from Bogovinje, on suspicion of committing the criminal offense under Article 215 of the Criminal Code, “Unauthorized Production and Distribution of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Precursors.”
On May 29, 2026, at 9:50 p.m. on Panko Brashnarov Street in Prilep, police officers from the Prilep Police Department arrested G.T. (30) from Prilep after marijuana was found in his possession.
On May 30, 2026, at 7:40 a.m. in the Bit Pazar area of Skopje, A.T. (30) from Skopje was arrested after a white lumpy substance was found in his possession.
On May 30, 2026, at 2:10 a.m. in the Gazi Baba area of Skopje, I.G. (28) from Skopje was arrested after marijuana was found in his possession.
On May 29, 2026, at 9:45 p.m. in the Centar area of Skopje, M.V. (24) from Skopje was arrested after a powdery substance was found in his possession.
On May 29, 2026, at 7:35 p.m. in the Aerodrom municipality area of Skopje, A.Ch. (24), a citizen of the Republic of Türkiye, was arrested after marijuana was found in his possession.
Upon the full documentation of the cases, appropriate charges will be filed against the individuals involved.
