Two individuals in Sveti Nikole and Kumanovo have been deprived of their freedom for operating mopeds without a license and under the influence of alcohol, causing traffic accidents

 

On May 12, 2026, at 12:00 PM, it was reported to the Public Security Bureau of Sveti Nikole that on "Kočo Racin" Street in Sveti Nikole, a moped with Sveti Nikole registration plates, driven by N.D. (18) from Sveti Nikole, collided with 69-year-old U.C.In the accident, U.C. sustained serious bodily injuries, which were confirmed at the Clinical Hospital in Štip. N.D. has been deprived of his freedom because an inspection team from the Public Security Bureau of Sveti Nikole determined that N.D. was operating the moped without possessing a driver's license. He is being held at the police station, and after the case is fully documented, an appropriate report will follow. On May 12, 2026, around 6:05 PM, it was reported to the Public Security Bureau of Kumanovo that at the intersection of "Ilindenska" Street and "Marshal Tito" Square in Kumanovo, D.Đ. (47) from Kumanovo, while driving a "Piaggio" moped with Kumanovo registration plates, lost control and fell onto the roadway, sustaining serious bodily injuries, confirmed at the General Hospital in Kumanovo.

Upon inspection by the team from the Public Security Bureau of Kumanovo and subsequent checks, it was determined that D.Đ. was operating the moped under the influence of alcohol, with a blood alcohol content measured at 2.80 per mille.He has been deprived of his freedom, and after the case is fully documented, an appropriate submission will follow.
