On May 11, 2026, at 7:50 PM in Štip, police officers from the Criminal Police Department of the Štip Police Directorate arrested A.Š. (65) from Štip. He is suspected of having, as the director of an educational center in Štip, for an extended period during additional classes, inappropriately touched several underage female students. The incident was reported at the police station by parents in the presence of the students and representatives from the Public Institution – Inter-Municipal Center for Social Work Štip.
With a court order, searches were conducted at his home and at the educational center, and items were seized for further proceedings. A.Š. was held at the police station, and after the case was fully documented, criminal charges were filed against him, and a preliminary judge ordered a detention measure of 30 days.
