On 30 December 2025 at 12:10 p.m., in a shopping mall in the Central area of Skopje, police officers from the Rapid Intervention Unit of the Skopje Police Department deprived V.L.P. (19) and F.I.P. (19), both from Romania, of their liberty, on suspicion that they had committed a theft at a jewelry store in the shopping mall.
Namely, earlier they had entered the jewelry store and asked to look at gold jewelry, and after a case was brought out, they forcibly took it from the employee and fled. Shortly thereafter, following measures taken, they were apprehended and deprived of liberty at the exit of the shopping mall, and 43 pieces of gold jewelry were found in their possession. The seized items were returned to the owner, and after the case is fully documented, an appropriate report will be filed against them.
