In the area covered by the Skopje Sector for Internal Affairs, intensified traffic controls were carried out during the weekend, during which 21 people were detained for reckless driving of a motor vehicle, pursuant to Article 297-a of the Criminal Code. Six of the detained persons are minors.
As part of the controls, a total of 161 measures were taken pursuant to the Law on Road Traffic Safety and the Law on Vehicles, of which 10 measures were taken against persons operating light electric vehicles.
